Vaccinium ashei 'Premier' ~ Premier Rabbiteye Blueberry
Premier Rabbiteye Blueberry is a vigorous upright spreading deciduous shrub with high production of large very sweet light blue blueberries that ripen early. The elliptical bright green foliage turns scarlet red in fall. The white flower clusters bloom in spring. Grows best with full sun and rich, moist acidic well-drained soils. Premier should be planted with others to cross-pollinate to increase yield.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Water regularly and mulch. Prune as needed in late winter. Chlorosis may occur in high PH soils. Blight, rot, anthracnose, canker, and mildew are occasional problems. Blueberry maggot, fruit worms, and spotted wing drosophila can damage the fruit. Mummy berry is a fungal disease that shrivels and dries the fruit- remove effected fruit immediately if spotted.

*A customer has 24 hours after the time Ace Hardware drops off the plants to inspect and accept or reject any items in the order. If you wish to refund your plant days after delivery, you may return the plant to our location: 1316 Dunwoody Village Pkwy, Dunwoody GA 30338.
**After the initial 24 hours, there is a $20 delivery fee. Replacement plants will be delivered within 30 days. Dunwoody Ace Hardware reserves the right to refund an item if a replacement cannot be delivered.
