Chaenomeles x superba 'O Yashima' ~ O Yashima Flowering Quince
O Yashima Flowering Quince is a dense, small deciduous shrub with a rounded habit and glossy dark green foliage on thorny stems that have no fall color. Large semi-double flowers that open green and mature to white with yellow stamen bloom heavily in late winter into spring attracting butterflies. Prefers full sun and rich well-drained soil. The fruits are showy yellow pommes in fall and ar bitter fresh but make good preservatives. Drought tolerant once established.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Blooms on old wood- prune to shade as needed after spring blooms. Remove suckers to prevent spreading. potential issues include leaf spot, fire blight, scab, and aphids. Unharvested fruits can be messy on lawns or walkways.

*A customer has 24 hours after the time Ace Hardware drops off the plants to inspect and accept or reject any items in the order. If you wish to refund your plant days after delivery, you may return the plant to our location: 1316 Dunwoody Village Pkwy, Dunwoody GA 30338.
**After the initial 24 hours, there is a $20 delivery fee. Replacement plants will be delivered within 30 days. Dunwoody Ace Hardware reserves the right to refund an item if a replacement cannot be delivered.
