Anna Apple is a early season deciduous tree that produces medium-sized fruit in summer. The highly fragrant pink flower clusters bloom spring in attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. Anna apples are sweet with a tartness useful for baking and ripen to yellow flushed with deep pink skin. Best fruiting in full sun with deep, slightly acidic, well-drained soil. Anna is a self-pollinator but produces more with other pollinators, and produces fruit in high yields after 3-5 years with a low chill requirements. Can keep for 2 months.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: High Maintenance. Water Regularly. Potential issues include apple scab, cedar apple rust, fire blight, leaf spot and and powdery mildew. Possible pests are aphids, maggots, boreres, and spider mites. Most commercially available Apples are grafted onto their rootstock, resulting in dwarf (8-10ft), Semi-dwarf (12-15ft) or standard tree heights all with full sized fruits. Ask the provider the rootstock classification for estimated size. Dwarf stock is easier to maintain and produces fruit at an earlier age.

*A customer has 24 hours after the time Ace Hardware drops off the plants to inspect and accept or reject any items in the order. If you wish to refund your plant days after delivery, you may return the plant to our location: 1316 Dunwoody Village Pkwy, Dunwoody GA 30338.
**After the initial 24 hours, there is a $20 delivery fee. Replacement plants will be delivered within 30 days. Dunwoody Ace Hardware reserves the right to refund an item if a replacement cannot be delivered.
